Default Engine rattle

Hi I have a noise coming from my engine which is making me paranoid! The engine has done less than 10k after full rebuild inc new pistons and cams. The lifters were not replaced so could this noise be a lifter?

First video is from cold, been started roughly 30sec

Second video is up to normal running temperature

http://s108.photobucket.com/albums/n...t=45fd07bc.mp4

Oil pressure was 52psi at 2500rpm

Any help is much appreciated
Thanks Billy

hi, that could be lifters always check timing first tho.. take the rocker off and if nothing looks out of place scored or damaged it might be worth changing the lifters,,, or you could put them in a vice and squash the oil out of them as they might have jacked make sure you get someone who has done this before if you havent

Well I fitted the new lifters earlier and gave it service and it's no better, if anything I think it's getting worse! I spoke to a mate and he suggested it has spun a shell as he had the same noises coming from his and that was the case. I'll pull the engine out in the morning and whip the sump of for a look and see what damage there is
