Most people dislike charge coolers and will take a proper intercooler over one every time. I've run a charge cooler for 10 years now (Pace) and can't fault it - I'd take one of those over a bigger intercooler but that's down to my personal choice.

Without a doubt, no question of that - I still prefer charge coolers, but as I say that's my own preference. They fit without any modifications, which whilst some do fit the same alot require bodywork to get them in - and I'm not hacking a car about for that.

Have run both on my RS Turbo's and the chargecooler does have it's merits but a decent intercooler wins out everytime for me.

An RS Turbo knocking on 300bhp I would think a large intercooler from the likes of GRS or Pro-Alloy is about your only option. My Fiesta's PACE chargecooler was struggling at just over 200bhp

Which Pace as they do 2 a double capacity job that's only marginally better than standard or the big bugger?

I use the big one and it cools my 25psi perfectly well and the water injection I was running to assist with charge temps has become redundant
