Default xr4i Lifting problem down force help

HI i was driving my xr4i tonight and the road dips and as i went down the dip i plated it flat out and i felt the whole front end lift up off the floor it is 24v converted so i plants it prity hard and any speed but none the less it was a o f**k second was wondering if anyone had any ideas pictures or knows a good way of keeping the front end down hard on the tarmac as april she goes sprinting so would like to have solved this problem by then o she also has the standard xr4i bumper on at the moment so the front splitter and shape of it probably plays a large part wonderd if anyone had any real good solutions cheers,

it used to be the backend that lifted on my xr4 quite scary at over 100mph when it lifts and goes sideways without even a moments notice! never had a problem with the front, my guess is your shocks are fucked and your springs are too soft

Has Koni adjustable dampers and brand new 40mm drop springs the non progressive type so its pritty stiff it holds onto the road pritty well , in the dry anyway

It was quite a windy day i might add we were doing about 140 so is the cosworth bumper the best one to strap to the front with the race lip on it

Sounds exactly like what I used to experience in my MK1 Focus at 100+mph...Scary!

In my experience lowering really helps as it stops too much air getting under the car but a front splitter helped massively too, it felt much more planted at speed.

The XR4i front bumper really looks like it will direct air under the car so I reckon a Cossie bumper with splitter will help alot.
