well i would give up its bent the inlet houseing and smashed the
waste gate houseing waste it maybe touching the blades inside
which could break up all go in to your engine leaveing you at
the side of the road with nothing but a pudddle of oil

that is the inlet waste gate yes you can just swap it but they must have dropt it some to dent smash and bend it like that your a brave man putting that on a car
i wouldnt the blades may feel ok but you carnt see every thing and at 100.000
rpm when they say bye thats it game over

yes its the dump valve thats smashed to bits,is it a T28?you can either replace it or buy a cold side relocation kit,which should come with a blank to fit in its place

the inlet housing bash is only on the lip, it doesn't go more than 9mm down, there is still about 20mm left and that is straight.
i might be able to get another housing, but as there is absolutly no play in the impeller, so i think i'll risk it

just took the cover of the damage to the inlet has not gone far enough definately, and i took the broken pipe bit off the dump valve, although i can get a complete replacement one from collins, so good news!

the compreser housing look's bigger than a rover
[rover has i think a/r 42 small turbo escort cossy
a/r is.48]i have got a ported commpresser housing
from a rover it had a rs turbo commpresser wheel
in it which is bigger than the rover unit
the other thing to do is blank off the dv with a plate

done it! machined a plate yesterday and wil hopefully make a tool up today and have a go at annealing the inlet to get it a bit rounder. not too much of a problem if not just have to make sure the inlet pipe is securly on, and i will put a dump valve on the end of the intercooler. problem solved!
