Default xr3i to turbo conversion

Hi, I have decided to turbo my cvh after spending last summer bringing my 88 xr3i back up to a decent (or close to) condition. Before I started buying all the bits i need for the conversion I wanted to check with you lot the exact bits I will be needing. I know I will be needing turbo, manifolds, intercooler, hoses, oil return into sump, but will i be able to use my cvh bottom end and head but change the pistons to lower the compression ratio? Also in terms of the wiring loom in my mfi, what will need to be added?
I will be grateful for any info as my knowledge is fairly basic, thanks!!

Theres an oil return in the block for the turbo and the pistons and rods are differant to lower the compression.
Where abouts in leicester are you i might be able to put you onto some one who can help you out ?

mark.

Thanks Mark, im near Market Harborough which is about 30 min south of Leicester. So it would probably be alot easier to swap the entire block. I have found someone that is selling the entire engine with turbo, manifold, intercooler, and loom for £600. Does that sound reasonable?

If you only want to run a small amount of boost, std cr would be fine.
