Default clifford keeps going off

i have a clifford 500 alarm which makes a fault code bleep when armed after driving in the heavy rain - or if i use the headlight washers alot. then a bit later on after arming the alarm is set off.

i assume its the water going on the bonnet switch, causing the probs.

what can i do to the switch, any ideas?

Had the same problem with one everytime it rained heavy, I think the sensitivity can be altered but not sure how, may need to contact a dealer to ask how. drove me mad

Had a similar problem changed out 3 switches. In the end got the dealer to move the switch on to a bracket off the inner wing further up out of the way of any water.( if that makes sense)

You can cover the switch in low temp grease or vaselene to prevent water entering and bridging the contacts.
