best management for black top fezzy

i have a black top 2.0 in my fez mk4. I'm looking at the easiest way to get it running and think the easiest way is going to be to run a focus engine loom back to a focus ecu in the glovebox. Can anyone see anything majorly disasterous with this plan, and if so suggest an alternative to give me an idea!

Seems ok, but an earlier loom and ecu may be easier. ie pre-pats, think theyre DEWY, DEEP, and DESK from early Mondeos and Escorts. Someone will know more whos done this sort of thing before
