I have a 1.8 black top Zetec out of a Ginetta G20 with less than 2 hrs from new. It has Jenvey T / bodies and a Pectel T2 race ECU.
I aim to fit it into a Mazda rx8 (fitting kit around £200.00)
How can I match the T2 ecu up with the Mazda ecu

Thanks for that. A very interesting conversion, i will keep tabs on it.
The shape and size of a Zetec is not the same as a Cosworth.
I hope to do the job without cutting the fire wall.
My Zetec has a Ginetta G20 sump which alows the engine to sit lower in the chassis.

 

Re my provious post re 1.8 Zetec fitted into a Mazda rx8.
The problem is not the fitting of the Zetec into the rx8 its the matching up of the two ECUs.
How do i get the Protocal of the Mazda ECU?
