old one came out no trouble... cant say same bout new one going in... as getting to tight... the end has snapped off leaving a piece stuck in block...luckly..no leak..but any advice on removing as dont wanna shag block etc.. cant beleive the luck..thinking sensor may have been brittle or something...

The sensor body is made of brass normally, so easy enough to drill, use a cobalt bit if you can with a bit of diesel fuel for cutting lube, drill out enough so you can get a decent extractor in there, inside the sensor is only a thermistor so will not cause any problems, check you don't drill too deep though, ie all the way through!!
