Default HELP!!! escort rs2000 axle

Hi everyone i bought an escort mk2 axle from fleabay not too long ago and today i desided to strip it, i got all wires and all other cables off and then undid the diff casing and tried to pull the diff out.... it wouldnt budge, so undid brake drums and pulled the halfshafts and they wouldnt budge... i havnt missed any nuts off at all but neither diff or half shafts will come out, i got my neighbour to give me a hand as he is a mechanic and owns a few fords himself and he was boggled at it too, are they heat shrunk in??? does anyone know what i can do to get them out, really hope somebody can help me!!

oh btw everything is in moving condition so its not seized...

cheers for any answers!!

Halfshafts need to come out first there are 4 bolts in the drum backplates then you will need a slide hammer to remove them, the diff casing should then come out
