Default idle control valve 1.8 gti

hi have problems with escort98 gti idling have checked for air leaks put new air filter and fuel filter still no joy am gonna look at idle control valve anyone know where i can find it thanks

all fords suffer with idle speed control valves goin. unfortunately on your engine they are a pig to get to as they're inbetween the engine and the inlet manifold.

good luck changing it. i'd just buy a new one so you only have to do the job once.
