Default EFi turbo conversion

As title. Want to (eventually) convert my bog-standard EFi 1.6 N/A CVH orion to EFi Turbo.

So i've started gathering parts and hope to convert it one of the weekends....
Have got :

* Polished EFi inlet off FRST & sensor
* Fuel Rail with beige inj's & adjustable Fuel Pressure Reg
* ERST Exhaust manifold
* Knackered wobbly T3 Turbo (awaiting a rebuild)
* FRST charge-carrier
* Spare 89SM6090 EFi head (off XR3i - awaiting a bit of fettling)
* Group A dump valve (with freshly fitted diaphragm)

I'm under the impression i need :

* Chipped FRST ECU
* Exhaust system
* Boost Pipes/Hoses
* Actuator
* Intercooler
* Air filter of some description
* Headgasket kit

Want to be able to start the job and finish it tidy with no fcuk-ups in a weekend. So want everything to be right...
Questions i'd like answering:

1) Is the head off the XR3i ok to use or do i need a FRST Head?

2) Is the block/pistons on my N/A Efi fit for being turbo'd or do i need FRST block/pistons?

3) Which ECU is the one that plugs straight onto my loom, in my orion? OFAC or OFAB?

4) Have I missed anything daft on my list of stuff to get?

Any advice is much appreciated....

3i head will be fine
block is useable, but you can't puch the boost as far due to higher compression pistons fitted.
you can fit turbo pistons and make an oil return in block/sump for turbo oil return though.
i'd get an ofab ecu, even if it requires a few wires to be altered as i'm not certain, as it has more scope for going further.

Ta. This is good info. I'm new to this turbo stuff - I'm learning....

I may even have an ofab ecu coming my way and possibly a 'good' T3 & elbow and a fez intercooler (if it'll fit anywhere...) depending on whether the lad finds em out for me. I'm sure I read somewhere that the ofab is the one that doesn't require any wire changes - it just plugs straight in, but I gonna find out for sure first.

Thanks anyway bud - wasn't planning on running high boost on my bottom end. Would the beige injectors still be ok to use at low'ish boost or should i stick with the blue ones?

Ah - just read rsbible and its the ofac one that plugs straight in. Even so - will still get an ofab and do the wire mods - seems simple enough.

Just a tad unclued on the map and suppressor thingy - take it I need both these items?

yea, you'll need to change the map sensor connector as the 3i/turbo ones are different!!! not too sure on the supressor side of things thou

if you got a efi cvh head on your engine i believe there is no reason to change your head. as with the orion efi inlet. look on fiesta turbo forum and there is a guide to converting your loom
