block is useable, but you can't puch the boost as far due to higher compression pistons fitted.
you can fit turbo pistons and make an oil return in block/sump for turbo oil return though.
i'd get an ofab ecu, even if it requires a few wires to be altered as i'm not certain, as it has more scope for going further.
Ta. This is good info. I'm new to this turbo stuff - I'm learning....
I may even have an ofab ecu coming my way and possibly a 'good' T3 & elbow and a fez intercooler (if it'll fit anywhere...) depending on whether the lad finds em out for me. I'm sure I read somewhere that the ofab is the one that doesn't require any wire changes - it just plugs straight in, but I gonna find out for sure first.
Thanks anyway bud - wasn't planning on running high boost on my bottom end. Would the beige injectors still be ok to use at low'ish boost or should i stick with the blue ones?
