Default Cosworth 4x4 fuel pipe...help !!!!

Hi, I have cracked the plastic heat shrink fuel pipe that feeds the fuel pump(connects to the banjo)inlet side and was wondering what I can use to replace it.
Also is the 4x4 cosworth fuel filter the same as the 2wd one.thanks

no mate there not the same you can use them but you will need to mod your inlet plenum as the lug on the plenum next to the fuel reg is in a diforent place and you will have to sort the reg out as well

in this photo its a 4x4 plenum with a 2wd rail you can just see its got 3 lugs on it the very front one is for a 4x4 rail and the second has been adid to fit the 2wd rail hope this helps you some

You mean the U shaped pipe, that goes from the pump around the back of the carrier to the fuel filter, and has a banjo on either end ?
If you cannot find another just get a braided pipe made up, be cheaper than paying inflated cossie prices anyway, and be flexible son won't break/crack.
Fuel filters same 2wd and 4wd.
The pipe you refer to though is the OUTPUT from the pump to the filter, as the inlet is a braided bit of flexy pipe direct to the tank to pump.

Well you can either get one from a breaker or try Ford, or do what Tabetha has said. From pump to filter I have -6 areoquip and a banjo at either end, just like the original setup, i'll try and find out the info for you on sizes and post back here .

Thanks for the reply,s guys, It is the standard fuel pump etc ( 941 model ).
There is just a couple of things that I wanted to know,

1/ What internal diameter braided hose will I need to buy.

2/ What can I secure the hose with, i.e will jubilee clips be strong enough, cheers,Darren.

Bought all my bits from this site, I wouldn't reccommend using jubilee clips TBH mate, you'll maybe get away with it on the return line but i wouldn't do it on the pressure side.
http://www.raceparts-direct.com/

As for the hose, i used -6 which is part number 200-6, you'll find that's what 99% of the people on here use.

Aye i can have a look mate, was in the same position as you when i did my fuel lines, had fuck all clue what i needed, but sussed it out in the end. Not cheap though as i ended up doing the whole lot. Is it just the pump to filter your doing, just so we don't get confused here?

On the tank to pump feed jubilees are fine, as only little pressure, the output could be secured perfectly safely with jubilee clips, if decent ones, personally if in a hurry I would use OPA pipe, I use this injection pipe, it is up to 25 BAR, so more than enough, and cheap, the last bit I bought was 17mm(internal) 1 meter for Ł5.86p(inc vat).
Although it can be safe with jubilee clips, it never looks it, in pressure terms it is no pressure at all.

Tabetha, its the pump to filter that I need to sort out( thin heat shrink pipe with a banjo on either end). I,ve already replaced the tank to pump pipe with 1 of them matt lewis ones off e-bay.
I just dont know what to order when it comes to these aeroquip jobbies.

Had a look at that link mate, can't really see all the bits you need there.
But here's what i'd reccomend;
1 Metre of hose (pt.no 200-6) page 16
1 x AN-6 to M14 x 1.5 to screw into your filter (pt.no 30...06-14) Page 19 (you'll need a copper washer too)
2 x Hose ends to -6 female thread (pt. no. 1136-0106) Page 16(but you could opt to use 1 hose end and a Banjo hose end on the other side and elimitate the banjo i've listed further down.
Plus you'll also need to confirm the thread for the cap on your fuel pump, the info i have is for a 044 pump and i'm sot 100% sure it uses the same valve.
But the cap i used was an M12 x 1.5 ,and you'll also need an an M12 single straight Banjo to -6 Male thread, IF it's an M12 cap your using.
At work at the moment so can't draw/post pics, but if you need anymore help give me a shout. I'm not saying you can't use jubilees, but it's just my way of making sure everything is as good as it can be.

Cool, i'll try and remember to draw you a diagram. I could take a pic of my car but it's been ocked away in a garage away from my house since August and there's heaps of shit infront of it.
