Default cossie suddenly it started to jerk?!

was driving the cossie the other day and suddenly it started to jerk, sounded like its low on fuel. Anyway it then sounded like a subaru impreza, that deep engine sound, its hard to explain. Any ideas???? check all plugs, leads etc but not default found.

Basically it was running on 3 cylinders. If plugs and leads are ok, could still be loads of things mate. Dizzy, coil.... Have you got a group a coil on there?? always worth having.

Make sure the crank position sensor is in good working order and is not covered in crap/ and or old and shabby.

Take dizzy cap off and make sure there is no water or crap in there, check overall condition of the dizzy and the points in the cap.

Worst comes to worst could be a blocked injector....

The list goes on..

It won't be the crank sensor as it would not fuel at all if this was not signalling.
Try pulling the plug leads off one at a time to identify the affected cylinder if you think it's running on 3, then you swap the lead with another and see if the problem moves to the cylinder with the suspect lead, if it doesn't the leads are ok.
This leaves fuelling as most likely, or a duff plug, again can do swappsies with the plugs.
