Adding an electronic fuel pump
I want to add electronic fuel injection to my currently carb fed Fiesta. Can I just add an external fuel pump to the main fuel feed line? I have heard that I need a tank with a swirl pot or something? I don’t quite get this bit I have owned 8 mk 3 fiestas and modded every single one i have done engine conversions rebuilds and all the rest but have never done anything like adding fuel injection! I have an FRST EFI fuel tank but it is rotten and would need a new one anyhow but a mate of mine has a 044 Cossy pump and brand new external hanger, I was wondering if I could use that? My tank on the car at the moment is solid.
