Default Escos pump issue

Havin probs with fuel pump not coming on

The only way for it to prime is to remove a fuse from the fuse box and refit with ignition on primes up then you can start car runs for a little then dies as pump don't run?????

The fuse is marked as weber something in the book

I'm thinking its a fuse box issue its a m8s car so thats all the info i have.
fuel pump and engine running relays have been replaced

Any ideas please people

they are bad for melting the solder where the relay contact is on the circuit board of the fuse box.. open up the fuse box and you may see it..it may make the connection then arc out when warm or under more load

will do Andrew going over there sat to sort it for him btw its had a new fuse box according to the history but i'm going to strip it and find out

Also the fuse that hes pulling out is the weber fie hego sensor lambda sensor which is odd but thinking about it the fuel pump wiring is normally linked the the lambda sensor so that could make sense

Fuse box has been upgraded by Ford as this was / is dead common mate, will almost certainly be the fusebox, just fit a new one, actually an easy job, just plugs in.

Thinking aloud, maybe the lambda heater has a dead short. Unplug it under bonnet to see.

this is exactly what i was thinking and text m8 late last nite and asked him to unplug and see if it starts

Reason i came to this is before he had the non start issue he said the was a stutter around 90mph which i reckon is about 4k and sometimes with the lambda gone down it can't rev over 4k

escos wiring and fuse boxes are a pain in the RS

cheers Stu
