hi all still having probs with my escort i have completly had the engine reconed
i now the car had contaminated fuel put in

smoking badly when first started (white/grey smoke hint of blue)
does carm down as it gets warmer still not right though
the only part which i havent replaced is the turbo has play in the shaft but doesnt seem to bad

the car hasnt been run for 2 yrs and it was badley over fueling + miss firing when i got it
any surggestions would be great as i am losing the will to live now

a gallon of fuel and a match are looking like the way forward lol

 

that WILL smoke for a good few hundred miles m8 as the contaminated oil WILL be in all the pipes and i/cooler so will need time to burn off!

 

See if you have oil in the intercooler to engine pipes, ie if it coming from the turbo it will smoke, make sure the mixture is right.
Any new engine is going to be smelly smokey for a bit, probably a run where it gets up to a good temp will help.

there was a greasie substance in the turbo pipes and a little oil in the intercooler
deisel /petrol mix still in the pipes i think have drained as much as pos and run it till it ran out put new fuel in still smokie
no oil loss or water
the engine was also 2 ltr over full with oil which seem to have fuel in to before engine rebiuld
