Lambda for pectel t6
As i need a lambda probe for my engine i need some advice on what my options are.
Is there any other way to do it than buy it from pectel at 400£?
on my pectel engine loom there is a special connector for the lambda so i would need this on the probe aswell.
any ideas?

That's how much the NTK sensors are.. an alternative would be to use a less-accurate Bosch LSU4 style sensor and controller for about half that money and configure the ECU for it. Nowhere near as nice though.

ok if that is what it actually costs i guess i just have to pay for it.
I was thinking maybe pectel wanted some hundreds to brand their name on the sensors, but guess not.
I do want closed loop so its important that it connects with the ecu.
since its so bloody expensive... any advice on protecting the lambda sensor?
As i will be running antilag i guess fitting it to the turbo exhousing is not a good idea?

Mark,
We have tried to overcome the price of the pectel NTK but you'll struggle to get any of the other alternative to work with the T6. The only possible way IIRC would be to have a stand alone sensor and controller and input the signal back into a user defined input on the T6, something we couldn't do as we'd run out of inputs....we run with aggresive lag on the rally cars and the Pectel sensors are very reliable....used not only on escorts but hyundai, some subaru grp 'a' and world cars use the same sensor....its a professional product but well worth the expense.....
