got in my car wednesday went to waork and all was fine,on the way back it was strugglin to reach 4000 revs,sounded like it needed prtrol but theres loads in her,its like she is loosein power,blew air down fuel line back to the petrol tank and its clear.lifted petrol cleand spark plugs.lifted petrol pump up and turned ignition on and it spun as its suposed to do.put it back and she started.SORTED

until halfway to work thursday.she just struggles to get to 4000 revs and just comes to a stop,

Sounds like the cat could be on its way out. Get underneath it and give it a bang and see if it rattles!

Does it misfire at all? Coilpacks commonly fail on zetecs.

 

sorry mate,my fault,its a 1.6 cvh efi 8v.im not sure if its the fuel fillter.ill get a new 1 and try that.if not im stumped lol.
