Default RS1800 Diagnostics Help?

Right basicly ive been having a few problems with my emissions on my fiesta rs1800

see here: https://passionford.com/forum/technical-help-q-and-a/242318-fiesta-rs1800-zetec-trouble-smoking.html

it was running around 14.** on the emmisions test with the standerd airbox and 1.8 maf but with the 2.0 tb

i changed the maf to the 2.0 mondeo one and it dropped the emmisions to 8.**

Since then ive fitted the 1.8 lamba which made it a bit better but since then i havnt had a emissions retest to see how much crap she is kicking out.

i also refitted my 1.8 tb but this made my car rev to around 3000 at idle!

I have booked a mobile diagnostics van to come to my house tommorow to plug my car in to see what he can do.

But ive been thinking will it be best just to give my car a total remap as it is so it runs perfect how it is as it only runs funny through the revs while driving like it struggles to pull and idles fine now.

Im just thinking whats the best thing to do as the car works, its just not all working together. Im begining to think i remap might be best? whats your ideas on this?

If you run the right stuff for the car you may have better luck.

It wasn't sarcasm, it was fact. You're running the wrong parts on your car - there's no way it can run properly and you're wasting your money having someone mobile mechanic to come look at it. The 130PS engine runs a completely different MAF to any other Zetec engine, so that's the first thing you need to correct. The Oxygen/Lambda sensors are the same on all the engines (and most cars infact) - the fact things improved when you changed to a different one indicates the old one was fucked. Don't assume the new one is right either.

The throttle body won't make any difference to how it runs, unless one has a faulty TPS.

The only way to make this run properly is a) to put the right sensors on and b) to check each sensor individually to ensure it's operating within spec. After you can confirm that all of this is 100%, and if a problem still persists, then you have to look at things like vacuum leaks, fuel pressure, wiring faults, etc.

Do it properly, do it once!

the faults were

552: Pulse air circuit failure
122: Throttle Position
157/158: Mass Air Flow Sensor
211: PIP Circuit Fault
212: Tachnometer Circuit Fault
214: Camshaft Identification

he said all this could be down to a earth fault?

i dont know how the camshaft sensor is faulty else the car wouldnt work?
Ive tried various MAF's and TPS sensors but they didnt even make a difference and yes ive tried the RS1800 ones
