before i rebuild the engine when i started her cold she high reved for a while and then calmed down to normal rev. but when i rebuilt the engine i replaced all sensors and when i start her now you have to keep your foot on the throttle so she dosnt die out. when she warms up she is fine tho! i tried changing the brown sensor the air/temp but i think its the water temp one any ideas?

it should raise the idle

A rebuilt engien is going to be tight, and the CO will have changed as a result of a new engine as well, so I would check this as it may be running lean a bit now.
