s2 not boosting but making all the right noises?!
i drove my rs combi van up to the pod this weekend, bout 140 miles, drove perfect all the way up, as soon as i pulled in and bought my ticket, i pulled away and the combi wouldnt go anywhere! its boosting and holding 15psi, not splutering, turbos spinning up nice, basicly its making all the right noises just wont go, it drove the 140miles home fine to! apart from not being able to usethe turbo! HELP ANY1! mayb a sticky actuator?

check actuator bolt/thread sounds like your wastegate is jammed open although if its making the boost maybe a boost pipe has come loose?

If the turbo is producing and holding 15 psi of boost it has to be something to do with the engine management.
TPS would be my first port of call seeing as they are prone to dry joints internally, and this being the sole component that triggers your full load fuel enrichment.........

if the fuel pump relay wasnt working the car wouldnt run so dont think for a minute thats going to solve your boosting issue.
I will almost guarantee you need a new fuel pump aswell, that'll be whats made the relay melt.

if i had any doubt as to the relay being a symptom in the problem i would advise changing it, and as ive already said, your current one is getting hot and melting, unless you change the fuel pump aswell the new one you fit will do the same thing..........
