Default xr2i 1.8 16v

ive got xr2i 1.8 16vwith stainless steel exhaust and a air filter. what could do to it to get a bit more power..

Nothing is worth the effort in terms of bolt on rubbish. The best thing would be an aftermarket ECU such as the megasquirt which should should see 150 bhp if you fit the 130 bhp spec cams as well.

What?

The standard exhaust flow enough for 150 bhp so it is not restrictive so why waste money? Chips are only good if they come with salt and vinegar.

rs1800/2.0 throttle body, rs1800 maf and rs1800 ecu rs1800/2.0 cams.

that would see 130ps technically.

make sure if the maf is from an rs1800 the ecu should be too.

the RS1800 inlet manifold is also different to the normal zetec item.

how much does nitrous cost in total ? think there was a gude in fast ford yonks ago to a white xr2i 16 v, is it a nae bad diy fit?
