Default Escort GTI fuel pump problem

I was on the way home from work tonight and just as I was 5mins from home the escort died..
i turned the key and all the dash lights came on as usuall but no fuel pump noise.
I have tried the re set button under the trim in the drivers foot well but no good.
where is the fuel pump relay on them, is it worth checking that as a next step??
many thanks

Hi mate relays are on the top of your fuse box you'll need to undo the clips to drop the fusebox to access them
