When i used to put £15 worth of pertol in my xr2i it went up half way but lately it goes under it?? could it not be measuring the ammount of fuel in the tank prop??

My daily run about Orion (1.6i MFI) does about 70-80 miles on a tenner driving locally, close to 100 on a motorway etc

 

as said above you should get more than that tbh! I get more than that out of my stage 3 saff!

 

Does the gauge flctuate at all? The floats in these tanks are notoriously wank. Safechav answered someone elses thread about this before

Some places skank you worse than others! Many years ago i had a car i used to run out of petrol in religously, i ran out one night, so had to get the jerry can out, i then ran out the next morning on the way to work, and at a petrol station closest was charging sky high prices, but it COST LESS to fill the jerry can than the night before..........figure that one out

 

Oh, i do drive it hard most the time but i will live with it cheers all
