If you've rounded them off beat a smaller socket on with a hammer

drill the ends off the bolts then mate center punch the holes and the drill a small hole and work your way up to a 8mm drill bit might have to take the starter motor out first tho and dusconnect the battery first. you could beat a smaller socket over it but if they are that tight i doubt it will help matters

Try unbolting the elbow. May make your life a bit easier.

Those nuts/studs are common to snap though all the spare elbows i have the studs are snapped. Best drilled out and replaced with stainless bolts, won't snap again
