hi can any1 help? i have a 1988 2wd sapphire cos, when i stop and switch engine off and take key out of ignition then get out the fuel pump keeps running for either 20sec or a miniute or 2? why does it do this? it started doing it the other day. also while the pumps still running i cant put the alarm on as part of immobiliser is conected to the fuel pump!!!
ANY IDEAS????

yep -fuel pump relay has got stuck - only remedy is a new one
