Default instrument cluster upgrade to tacho?

hi guys,

anyone know whats involved in fitting the gti/si instrument cluster like this..



to upgrade my 98 escort diesel van that doesnt have tacho.

any advice appreciated,

Default look on feoc

theres a boy on the www.feoc.co.uk forum that asked the same question and he was told about running a cable to the speedo from the ecu hsve s look on there theyll sort you out ill have a look and try and find it for ya too

you could get a haynes manual and followm the wiring diagram to see where everything wires up to hope thats a help for you

thanks buddy i'll look into it, was a bit puzzled as diesel has no coil for pulse

diesels usually use a tacho pick up from the alternator to drive the rev counter...
