escort van 1.8 turbo conversion help
hello.
i am finishing putting in the 90bhp intercooled lump and box into my mk5 escort van shell after my 1.8 lump died.
have finished changing gear linkage, correct driveshafts, changed the clutch, made an alternater bracket for it, changed fuel pump after i damaged the last 1 with an anglegrinder trying to get the plate off the fuel solenoid.
does anyone have any info on where the fuel lines fit, the 1 from the tank and the return pipe? its been a while since ive looked at the van, too many other jobs. i have the 2 fuel lines from the tank but they dont go anywhere.
i would have thought they would go to the diesel pump/fuel filter on the cylinder head. there is a fuel line from the leak back section on the fuel pump to the fuel filter/priming pump, through a solenoid. there is another from the diesel pump just below the start stop solenoid.
any info would be great,id like to get the van going.
