Default Cossie Running Gear

Can someone tell me wether the running gear on the Sierra XR4/i is the same as the Siera cossie ?

If so what all is different besides the engine ?

Everything is pretty much the same apart from 2wd gearboxes. The rear diffs, beams etc are all interchangeable. 2wd front hubs and brakes are different and there are a few minor supension mount differences along with thicker ARBs on the Cossies.

Looking to build a Fiecos

Was wondering as it would be handier to get a XR4 and take the floor out of it and put into the Feista than cutting up a Cossie to do the same thing with

It would also be handy to be able to fit some of the rear running gear in anticipation of the cossie engine. And in doing it in this way i'll save a good bit (i hope) just buying Cossie parts and not a whole car.

Would the XR4 Gearbox be the same as the cossie one (4X4)?

A XR4i is 2wd and was fitted with a type9 gearbox.

The early XR4x4s was also fitted with a 4x4 version of the type9 gearbox

Later MT75 boxes out of 2.9 4x4s might fit ?
