Default costina bottom hose

Hi, can anyone help, maybe a bit of a novice question but is the bottom radiator hose t-piece pipe that leads to the header tank on a 2wd cossie a return hose. i am fitting a cossie motor in my mk4 cortina and what i want to do is fit a one piece pipe with no t-piece between the radiator and water pump and the pipe that would normally T off run from the header tank to the overflow fitment on the filler neck of my radiator as i have fitted a grp 4 mk2 escort rad hence the fact i need to know if its a return hose. thanx , help me

No its not a return just a fill BUT you will need a return to the top of the rad for the Turbo and a swirl pot if you use one

You could use a standard pinto lower hose and top if they fit that will work fine with a return for turbo to the top of the rad
