Default cossie engine rebuilds

been ruuning stge3 and my engines done bout 30000mls since rebuild had head gasket and stuff since but it now drinks,burns alot of oil wonder if its due a freshen up,

shouldbe doing this so soon after a rebuild.

you think so does get hammerd though,well it got done in 1999 and it had new clocks in 98 and its only got 45000ml on clock maybe 40000ml then

Check your breathers make sure there not blocked
When it first comes on boost do you get a puff of blue out back?

I had same prob the turbo was leaking oil into cooler

Had turbo recon now its ok mines done 102k all on lights greens

What oil are u using? my mate ran his 4 years on 0/40 mobil 1 he used a lot also

i got one of them bailey breather systems as it used to blow loadsa oil out the engine breather and i mean loads in a mile of driving of the lights flat out it would chuck a cup full of oil into a pot,ive tried all different oils mobil 1,castrol, fords,it had a new t34 not to long ago and has probaly only done 2000ml

Have you oil in intake manifold ?

sounds to me u have excessive crank pressure.

How did u fix the oil getting into pot? is the return to sump pipe blocked or restricted?

fixed the oil by fitting bailey breather system thats only a year old it returns it to sump,im thinking crancase pressure but how you sort it new rings?when to tommy field bout 2 year ago and they said i had 8%cylinder leakage and was coming out threw crancase breather.

That would b the problem the rings

This just maybe down to havin a hard life(but fun!!!)

Do a compression check then decide

think they was about no.1 cylinder 140psi
no.2 cylinder 120 psi
no.3+4 was 130psi
