1.8 gti engine swap?

hi again i have been offered a escort gti 1.8 zetec engine would this fit ok into my mk6 auto cab,fit on to existing mounts and autobox? plus can i use current ecu to run bigger engine,thanks

what engine is in at the moment? im sure zetec have a differnt block when on an auto box not sure tho, would rekon ull need the loom and ecu also, plus new mounts

the gti engine is nothing special and basically the same as fitted in most of the escort 1.8 range, all that makes it different is the badge on the wings
