Default 18td to 18tddi

Hi,
I have a escort mk6 van 18td (70 hp).I can get hold of a 18tddi (90hp) that's at a breaker nearby, but a have some questions about swapping the engine,do I need to swap the complete engine with the loom ?Or can I swap it with keeping my old loom?Or do just need to change the turbo and is the intercooler just a bolt on item on my engine that's now in my van?And are the gearbox ratios the same or should I put the gearbox of the tddi in my van?

i think a lot of things will be different, to pt the engine in, you will need the loom and ecu too. probly better to just put the 1.8td 90bhp engine in from a escort or mondeo. iv done that before, nice to have the tddi if you can do it, even better tdci
