Car was placed onto the dyno today to check over everything with the new clutch/flywheel. All is sweet and as it was before.
Gave it a quick wash before it was taken to the body shop this afternoon where it will be for the next 5 days.

Just freshen up in the same colour. The years of grinding, cutting roofs off and painting inside white etc has paid its toll on the outside finish.

if so was it simply a case of drilling and bolting?

Pretty much yes.
The original wings we cut out and modified to take the drag wheel/tyres.
Then when the track wheels were fitted they looked lost and stupid.
So i drilled out the spot welds and had these wings painted.
Then fitted some standard wings/arches which bolt on. I simply fitted rivnuts to the holes that i drilled for the spot welds.
6 bolts and the wings drop off.
