For the price of the scoop luke I would expect it to not only be silent when closed, but to drive me home after a session on the lash, buy me a monster takaway, provide some top sex, and then clean the house!!
But I suppose that would be asking a little too much. Im gonna have to side with hev on the looks of it but it must serve a purpose. When you decide to give me the go ahead on a new custom dash we can design some ducts
(obviously carbon :-( ) to be installed decretely back where they belong,,,,,,,,,then you can sell me that scoop.lol
Bodykit looks great quality, hope you liked the pics last night. Me and Baz will be breaking it out of the mould later today, trimming it up and doing a dummy fit to see how much shrinkage (if any) has occured and if there are any issues which need sorting.
Some saucy pics coming yourway soon my carbon undie wearing friend.

Hello Luke,
well as discussed here are some pics of the new "Autoflock Motorsport VR-Splitter". At the mo it has had one coat of plastic primer and 2 coats of gloss black. The mrs is of out tonight so I might pop into the unit on my way back and flatten it ready for the final coat so all that will be left is the laquer tomorrow. For anyone interested this has been sculpted by hand using the traditional VR6 splitter. Luke instructed us to extend the bottom of the splitter to allow the undertray to be fixed to it.
The one pictured is the GRP version but this is a prototype for Luke to have and confirm PROPER mounting options. Once we have established the best method of mounting this to the bumper a further mould will be made for creating carbon ones.
THese will be avaliable to buy real soon for anyone interested, hope to have a full carbon one on Lukes car for F-Fair.
Insidently this grp version weighs in at 780grams atm
A lot of time and hard graft has gone into this so I hope you like it
plastic primer
Had a break and a quick butty while waiting
Gloss black

its heavy compaired to the standard plastic Volx ones but these are grp so are about 3 times as thick. Not too sure what the carbons ones will weight but it will be interesting to find out. We could get the weight down even further with the grp ones if that was an issue but remember this is the first one out of the mould so to speak so now the development and improvements start

lol,
it will be very rare when we produce composite parts that they will be off the shelf generic items, on the odd show we may make a batch of a particular part and sell them at a bit of a discount but 99% of our composite work will be bespoke to the customers requirements in regards to weight, strength and cost. Give us a call sometime as you may be suprised
I will stop the sales crap now, appoligies Luke

Well here we go again... update time
BIG THANKS FIRSTLY TO RAJ / AUTOFLOCK for spending many an hour crafting the new front splitter and forwarding to me a prototype/mock fibreglass version in black for trial fitting.
All was mounted up tonight and the frontspliter/undertray.
Still only a mock up so a long way from the finished item which will be carbon fibre.
I am really pleased with the look and strength of it all.
The undertray/splitter still needs some trimming down the sides but the lower splitter that Raj is working on ticks the box's! Just need the final carbon fibre one sorting
Few pics from tonights fiddling.
