im busy uploading the body update pics from today at this very moment
didnt want the RS1600i dials with the lights in the speedo cos im not gonna be using that engine so the lights would be no use to me, and i think they look dump

here we go, todays update is here
the drivers sill needed a bit more welding to finish it off, this was done the other day.
began cutting out the rear panel, still needs a bit more cutting off and tidying in the below pic
heres my mate Andy welding a plate over a hole in the boot floor
rear panel welded in place
welded a plate over the fuel filler hole, what does that tell you
welded on the lower rear right corner panel
skimmed it with bodge
Andy working his magic again, sanding down the filler
rear right arch smoothed off roughly, needing a few more goes to get it just right
welded up the washer and wiper holes, since its a summer toy they're no use

delocked drivers door and repaired a small dint in the from of the door
delocked the tailgate
welded all the patches in the floor that needed to be done. the interior is just about complete bar a few seam welds and rollcage
another arty welding photo
how the car stands as we left it for the night
