Classic mini project
Right, here is my second project on the go. I recently bought 2 minis, and plan to make one good one. My dad kept lots of parts from his old car, and I have been given a full roll cage, sump guard, rear subframe, bigger cooper s fuel tank, and a few expensive engine goodies such as forged rockers, Cosworth 73.5mm pistons and Cooper S rods.
Here are some pics from when I viewed it, but they aren't very good so I will upload some tomorrow when I pick the two cars up.
Oh and one is a minter shell, and one is a rust bucket. But I am keeping both.

Will be selling this fancy stage 2 exhaust for a simple RC40

13x6 Superlights

That's the donor shell. Here's the minter:

Update tomorrow. But that's all for now folks

Yep, she is going to be my road rally car. I can't justify using the Sierra. Too much effort gone in to it just to ruin it. I will make sure this is built properly too. I already have most of the stuff to build the car. Just need to buy the front panels and the consumables you would use on any project.

Update. Got one car back. Im selling up everything apart from the white car, and going original. Decided i will use a throw away car for rallying
will get picks up at the weekend as i am picking the other one up then.
Well, this hasn't been updated in a while. Plans have changed for the more now, it is going to be either 1.6 or 2.0l now. Contemplating weather to put a red top vauxhall lump in it or a vtec. Or possibly a 1380 a series. But I got the red shell back, and it is in naff condition, so next year I will replace the roof, sills etc and eventually get the cage I have welded in. The colour cheme is going to be white & lime green. It will also be a track day car only, as even a modified normal mini is uninsurable for me. I am going to sell loads of bits, then pay for the new lot going in. Already refurbishing a new subframe, and hopefully it will be painted next year, although I aint gonna hold my breath.
I will get some pics up soon, just dont have any tbh

Good to see another mini surviving a rusty old grave, have you checked out 16v mini web site plenty of honda and vauxhall minis on there might give you some good ideas.

Wee update on this. Did a load of welding to this, bought a welded up shell ready done, with a rear subframe, so will sell this, and paint the new one. It's limited edition too
