Half the car is solid (back and one side)

Started on the other side today, and tomorrow should see this part of the inner sill finished, then it's door step, heelboard, rear quarter, and outer, then I get painting, undersealing, and rebuilding it so it's half rolling

All completely solid, ready for door skins, a front end, then a suspension rebuild, and put them on the car, so it rolls, then it's paint time.

Another update in a min

First panel sanded to bare metal, fillered and etched in 2k

And front subby stripped

As this will morph into a road rally/track day/ daily car I am re inforcing it. Bracing it, seam welding it, and re painting it.

Just to prove I'm actually doing something

Looking good, see you've got some nice GAZ dampers on here, should help the already good handling.

Yeah, making sure it can be converted to rally spec if needed And yeah definitely! They'd be very useful!

Oh right, you sure? And they'd all be put to good use. After a years ncb I'm gonna do some rally prep me thinks. Re inforcing the rear strut tops and huge reinforcing plates for the front subby

Front subframe 90% rebuilt, painting some odds and sod, then touching the lot up, and then it's onto assembling the rear up, and as the shell says,

it's going for soda blasting when the companies I asked for quotes stop being complete ******

Beebity beep beep, Oh time for another mini update

Of course. Today, the god all mighty scuttle itself was fitted, and got 1 closing panel on. Also got the steering rack on, changed the track rod ends, got the front subby on, and next weekend will see the front end built up, maybe the rear end built up, and possibly rolling. Then it's time to reskin the doors. In january it's a weekend rebuilding the engine, and I'm shipping it home for paintwork to commense
