Along the coast in Anstruther.

There's a few cosworths kicking about, my saph, a white escos, there's a grey saph
tucked in a garage that's meant to be a quick one too, and a couple tucked away just up in st Andrews.

Passed a white escort cos heading leven direction earlier tonight.......not a clue who's it was, so there's some still kicking about.

Got some 300mm rear brakes from Reyland so just going to keep standard rear calipers and sell the Porsche stuff.
Just waiting on getting my loom back from Ryan then , its on with the mechanical mods ready for the summer.

Few pics of the paint after the detail over the weekend.

I have just picked up a straight cut box to add to my list of parts to be fitted , a bit over kill really for a 360bhp car but the standard box is starting to show signs of ware.
Still waiting for my loom back from Ryanso thats putting a bit of a hold on getting the rest of the parts fitted as I want to get it all done in one hit.

To be 100% honest Carlo im not sure its either a PD box or Bara Its the box out of (20 post) Franks old car but when he sold it it only had the straight cut 2nd and 3rd PD kit and now has a full kit. Tony Conway had the box stripped and inspected before I got it and the only ware was on the original reverse gear so it had a new one fitted.

No mate the only reason i went for this box is the one in it is starting to go and Im looking at about Ł500 to get a rebuild on that, which might last ages or might last a month like standard boxes on my old car.

Heard back from Ryan that my loom is now finnished so hope to have that back soon, then it's off to get the parts fitted and a new map.
Just need to decide if i want to stick with the T34.63 , fit the .55 housing or change turbo altogether
I also got a short shift and all new oils for engine, box and diffs from Rainbird

This one wont be going anywhere like the spec of the last one with swirl pots, plated diffs.....

Dave Im tempted just to stick the .55 housing on and leave it at that, but might look into a RB core for the T34.63 but not heard many results of people using them.

Just bought these off Phil on here as the blue leads are the only part that I think doesnt fit in well with the look under the bonnet.

MOT -- Passed

Well think I have decided on the spec for the car , as its ment to be a cheaper sunny day car Im not going to spend ŁŁŁŁ on it. So its going on a UT T38 with 76mm comp wheel and a set of 83lb blacks which i hope to have sorted along with a chip next week.
I know that it wont be as responsive as i had originaly planned but should give smooth power delivery, and I may well pull the engine this winter and raise the comp ratio then roller core the T38.
