It breathes from both sides of the block and doesnt seem to blow out any oil when ive checked the underside. Idealy a wrc breather venting back to a big wing sump would be my choice, but if it doesnt cause any problems as it is im not changing it.

On the road im seeing a 32psi peak tailing off to 27psi, I dont know what boost it made on the rollers but think it was a DD set up will pop along to Sitech during the week to pick up the printout.
Its the smaller GT3071 so its about the power i was expecting around 450, but its the way it drives im more than happy about. For a 380bhp + road car its the best turbo ive used, Ive had T34.55, T34.63,T38 and a roller T4.

Where does the port under the turbo on the block breath to? I only see 1 in the cam cover and the other where the kidney box used to be.

Just thinking at that kinda spec you'd want it to breath as freely as possible, especially if you'll be tracking it or giving it some abuse

Ah right, gotchya I just used that port under the breather tank as an oil return to the sump. Does the job well, but blanked the one in the cam cover

Just found the roller graphs in the glovebox so here are a couple of pics as i dont have a scanner. Im not sure if the rollers loaded the car up fully low down as im sure the boost comes in a bit earlier on the road.

The way the car drives on the road is different to how the graph shows, i wasnt there for the run but it looks like they held back untill after 3000 rpm before stamping down.
If Simon from Sitech sees this he may be able to comment better.

It loaded up very well to hit almost 36psi

Mine only made a peak of 31.5psi on the RR, but held just under 30psi from 4500 to 7000

Steve I know it made the peak boost i would see on the road , just looking at the graph it is like he held back a little untill around 3K revs then stamped down. I dont feel like the power comes in with a big hit on the road if anything the power feels smother than it did on the T34.

Pete im runnnig a straight cut PDE boxand standard diffs with a brace plate fitted to the front, Ive never actualy broke a diff in my cosworths just gearboxes.

Our graphs are almost identical upto 4500rpm, and i know mine was foot in the carpet from the start.

They always drive different on the road to what the graph shows

Hi Neil, sorry about catching you on Sat. You found the graphs, good.

Your car drives very smooth, I like to tell people that my Grandma could drive your car, its so easy and refined.
The dyno plot is a true representation of the power delivary, you have to bare in mind that on the road that power hike does have to shift a 1.3 ton car, so feel less.

If we had acess to the boost map then we could spread the delivary out some. I also feel some increased duration on the cams would also help spead the power curve. But why????? car drives perfect

Simon.
