I have a spare in the boot so if your car is still there if I go across we can try one on.

I have managed to sort out a replacement fusebox , so hopefully that should be with me next week depending on the weather . I have also been given a standard exhaust cam FOC from one of the guys on the escort site so that along with the new engine loom will get fitted in the newyear.

Im thinking of maybe changing the twin headlights back to standard after seeing a pic of how the car use to look

Think it looks better with the quads, standard lights work best on light colours like aurulis or white imo!

Well more parts are arriving so will be some updates and changes over the next month hopefully.

New parts

.55 ex housing
standard exhaust cam
bells and brackets for a 360mm brake kit
pillar pod for boost gauge
standard headlights

Just need to sort out some side lights, and get my loom down to Ryan for some mods.

The brakes will use my old Porsche rear 4 pots, Reyland bells and brackets and 355mm disks. I did look at using the old fronts and 380mm disks but they are too close to the wheel.

Haha nope staying under 400bhp and parts will only be replaced to make it drive better or be more reliable.
Saying that 380mm brakes sort of brake that rule, but there going to look cool and stop it well.

Bit of a change on the brake front as i won these on Ebay the other night.
380mm Alcons

Bit of a tight fit
Ive had to remove the weights so will need to get the wheels re-balanced now.

Going to mod the old 310mm front kit to fit on the rears, only need to skim the caliper to take the wider disk. I plan to eventualy use my brembo 4 pots on the rear and the original as handbrake only.

Ive decied to just buy a new rear brake kit rather than mess with modding the calipers to fit the wider discs , so the 310mm front kit is now forsale.

Dropped the car of yesterday to be detailed and nipped in today to check on progress, should get it back on Mon or Tues.
I have also ordered a set of 300mm rears from Reyland , which will be here at the start of the week.

Who's doing to detailing? Got my saph done by the bloke in markinch last year, makes a huge difference to the appearance!

I'm just along the coast from you, drive past the end of your road most days. Always good to know local detailers and stuff.
