Stopped off at Flo-Flex's stall today at ford fair and purchased a rear set of poly bushes so i could get all me bits bolted back up. I did struggle to get the bushes in the beam etc and they where also a right sod to get the wishbones back into the beam they where so bloody tight with the new bushes and the powder coating, but got there in the end and this is the progress so far,

Got a little update for you, been doing a fair bit of cleaning etc then painting of components.
Managed to clean the tank up as best i could, the top is still pretty pitted etc but done my best, the bottom part was covered in underseal so had to attack it with a stanley blade and thinners, got there in the end,

Bit of an update today, spent the morning on the car wich involved making some new braided brake lines to replace the flexi pipes and the pipes from the calipers to the hard lines. I also painted up my rear calipers and then put them back together, i test fitted them to make sure the pipe work was ok and to see what they will look like.
I also recieved some new stickers for my avo shocks as i had to rub the old ones off to refurb them, they have made all the difference, here's a few pics,

Right ive spent a few hours on the car so i thought it was about time i updated the thread. Started the other day by cleaning and rubbing down the prop shaft ready for paint, also cleaned the gearbox cradle up but im going to leave that alone as i think painting it silver would look a bit tatty.
Then i set to fitting the gearbox and prop back into the car which went without a hitch and took all of about five mins so nice and easy job,

Fitted my old discs and rear pads this afternoon as my brother was available to press the brake peddle to help me bleed them, all bled fine with no leaks so happy days
, also fitted new rear wheel bearings beforehand.
Then i set to fitting the gearbox and prop back into the car which went without a hitch and took all of about five mins so nice and easy job,
