Are all the new bolts that you bought for the underneath good quality bolts?
Its just i am after some and looked at these but weren't sure if they would be good enough.
Cheers Bram

good thing with using RS7s is that the std 4x4 cossie brakes will fit no bother and keeps it looking similar to OE spec - people will just assume its a RST and think they can beat it

Started bolting bits on but all the pics i took for you are blurry! Sorry...
Today I put on the Rs7's to see how they looked pics aint very good as i couldnt pull the car up the driveway by myself.
Sounds weird but all i have ever wanted is diamond cuts on my series one and when i put them on kinda prefered my old ones???
Also tried to remove my sunroof on the donor car and cant figure out how to do it?!?!?!?

na mate, its a Y reg mk3 escort 5 door......
must admit mate, i didnt touch it for ages as I didnt know where to start! Soon sorted that out and sorted out all the parts i had and got rid of a car load of crap that I dumped, put all the right bits into boxes and stored them for putting back on. Going to put all the parts on from my donor car and then get rid of that before I get the engine in. Very tempted to just get it in though.........

looking very cool, i aways prefered std 15" 7 spokes to 17's
as for the sunroof:
wind it fully open
remove screw from winder
above winder (in sunroof shut) there are 2 screws, these will remove the inner handle surround
remove all other screws around the outer edge (in shut)
lift/slide sunroof out from top by pulling on the runners/rails (this is abit jiggery so about of side 2 side motion should see it out or you can try wind the sunroof slightly closed to aid getting it out but keep an eye on the runners as they will move about abit as no longer fixed/screwed down)
you can change over inner sunroof blind once out as the s1 blind will be darker.
reverse instructions to refit
if you get stuck with any bits just give me a pm mate as only built my mk3 cossie up 99% last year b4 selling it so its fresh (ish) in my mind.
hope this helps & keep up the good work!

well today i was busy, managed to sell my x5, but i did get something done on the car, all the side windows are in.....
Manged to get the windows back up with the aid of a battery charger woohoo! now i have space to sort out the locking mechanism on thedoors.
After that i cleaned up the rear parcel shelf supports that were kindly donated by russell...forgot to take a before pic!
used some special cleaner and paint that some of you may recognise....
Then went to ford to pick some stuff i had ordered...
Ł79 of clips and pop rivets!
