Got a problem at home with the arsehole that bought my old house too, looks like thats going to cost me a grand! Fkn boiler, but hopefully i might be able to get out of it. Was wanting to have some spare cash to start building......

Went to see the car today and all i can say is wow, truly excellent job on the paint, and the tank is nearly finished.
All my new bolts for the underside of ther car have arrived too, so the plan is that I am going to take over all my powder coated parts and mount the beams and get it rolling and we will bring the car home.

Bet your well cuffed mate, Can't believe how quick the turn around has been on it. Did you buy the bolts as a kit from somewhere???? if so could you tell me where from,
Cheers, Ginger

Started getting the bits ready for getting the shell rolling.
Front cross member with new engine mounts, arb and hubs...
Rear beam and diff. Everythings got powerflex poly bushes and brand spanking new bolts.
Tomorrow going to get all my driveshafts ready, got a couple of questions, do i need the long spacers that go in between the 8mm bolts on the driveshafts? mine are pretty screwed. also the cone shaped bush that goes on each side of the beam, which way up, cone pointing up or down?

Well I have had a great day building up the car and getting it home finally, heres the pics,
Got to the bodyshop and uncovered the car,
The man of the hour, this is for you putting the pic of me pretending to drive the car up!
Shell up on the ramp,
New coilovers,
Built the beam up with the diff, after pressing in the new bushes.
Wheels on !!
Rolling for the first time in over a year!
Prepped and going on the trailer,
And back home ready to be built back up…..
Might need some help!
