Yeah it will be at every show hopefully, I work away and no doubt my schedule will make me miss some but i will prob arrange someone to take it down and put it on someones stand for me. It was meant to be done for this year but I got screwed, thankfully Ally took it on and sorted it out for me. I should get it back home in a few weeks and then its time to put all the bits back on that i am refurbing. Going to be a busy month....

When I was reading the start of the thread I thought that people were being a bit harsh towards the lad who was building it for you, but then I saw the standard of his welding and realised that it was totally justified!
I'm going to put it out there.... Grudge match between you and Beefy???!
I would quite enjoy reading that in FF.

Looks like there's gonna be some nice 'new' cars at the shows next year.

Just started reading this post 2nite as ave not been on here for ages what a build can't wait to see this finished another quality blue oval build coming out of Scotland !!!!!

cool, will have a look on ebay mate, but i am at work and it will be a pain to do. Not much time out here, 14 hr shifts etc. Will try my best and if you know of any going about let me know and i will arrange them. Maybe even leave them until i buy the donor mk3 for all the little bits eh?

Been watching this for a while and it looks mint, supprised you painted it with kit on though as surley this will move over time and you will get a paint line. Going to be a fantastic motor

See that fella, but you still get that paint thickness line, i used to have a s1 and had to have a little dint on wing sorted, told paint shop to take kit off to paint it but they didnt so made them do it again as you could see a paint line. they never painted kit but you could just see this paint edge and i wernt happy as i used to be a painter so just stuck out

iv always painted them same way as above on both mk3 an mk4 but get what ur saying

the kit is bonded on , due to the kit being trimmed for the choice of bigger offset wheels so most of the bolt holes are not there due to the wings and kit being trimmed
the kit is fitted perfect and believe me there no chance of it moving and the paint cracking
also the car is now painted again with it on and there is no paint build up round the kit at all .
