It's close to being on the road, still waiting for an IVA test date, the paperwork was submitted ages ago, they are really busy this time of year, which is extra frustrating when the sun is bleaching down outside, all I wanna do is drive it!
I'll do another update when I have something interesting to share

I've just bought an ignition module to allow the ignition timing to be adjusted and booked a R/R session at BigCC on Monday afternoon, wish me luck![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
After speaking to Shaun at BigCC, it's clear that I'm unable to run as much boost as I was expecting to be able to, he said to keep the engine reliable a limit of around 12psi or maybe a little bit more would be advisable, any more than that and it'd need to be ran on race fuel, which obviously doesn't make sense for a road car. I can't wait to see/hear it at full chat and to find out what kind of bhp figures it makes, answers on a postcard please...

Sorry I haven't got any more photos, but I have a little video clip of it being ran up on the rolling road at BigCC Racing yesterday, it was one of the early runs while adjusting the fueling at 6psi, i've got a ocuple more videos of various runs, i'll have to get round to uploading them
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3q7lKVkHoBk
And here is a graph from this mornings mapping session, the blue line is 12psi and the red is 8psi, all figures are at the wheels.

It's due to a fuelling issue caused by the standard ecu wanting to add a small amount of extra fuel as the secondary butterflies open, with me having bigger injectors it overfuels and runs a bit lumpy at that point, to eliminate it aftermarket management is required.

It's the Kawasaki gearbox, the engine is rotated 90 degrees, the sprocket is removed from the output shaft and an adaptor fitted to allow a propshaft to be fitted to drive a rear diff.

I'm still waiting for the DVLA to inspect the car so they can issue it with a registration number and V5, but in the mean time I've bought a few odds and sods.

An ignition module add on for the Power Commander III, to allow the timing to be tweaked, that means another rolling road session to do some more mapping.

Well after all this time the DVLA have finally pulled their finger out and registered my car, very nice to finally have it on the road after all the waiting, even more so with it's brand new 61 plate ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Cooling the engine has been a little bit of an issue, so during the first few runs out in the car various things have been tested and tweaked, most noticeably the bonnet vents being added, they will be finished off with black mesh on the underside.

Temperatures are a lot better now but will need further tweaking for piece of mind during track days and summer driving.
I've driven the car a good few times now and even on low boost it goes very very well, high boost it's like a missile!

circa 770bhp/tonne feels nice!![Smokin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smokin.gif)
Yeah I know what you mean, although considering the lack of torque it pulls quite well from low down, traction isn't too much of an issue either, which is handy, point and squirt ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
