The picture was done by taking two pictures with a camera on a tripod then using photoshop to have the image without the wheel at the back with the image with the wheel over the top. Then sections are deleted from the top image to show through.
Not sure when it will be done. Some pics as it stands now.
Not happy with it at all though. The coilovers are on full drop and its sitting really high and the arch gap is huge. Booked in for the MOT on thursday anyway though. See if it settles or not. Cant be bothered doing massive amounts more on it this year as its going nowhere. Gonna put some black bumpers on it for now and use it as it is. Worry about the respray and inside rear end next summer.

The pic from the front makes it look really evil!
im still after some racing arches sy if you have the other set available?
i found with my coilovers they settled but it wasnt very noticeable really...
did you not buy shorter springs for the front shocks?
I reckon you should keep it silver and use a purple laquer over the top to keep the theme of your car going!

I just dont like the way it looks at the moment 
I think im bored of it now to be honest, need the motivation back.
Been out working on it all night and the start/charge system is playing up again May have to cancel mot now.

its hard to keep the racing arches in good nick so id prob use them to!

Been out most of the eve trying to sort the charging problem but with no luck, will still try make mot in the morning :S
Performance Ford have emailed me to ask how the Ka was going and told me they want to do the feature in 3 weeks. Looks like ill have to finish it sooner than id planned.

Taken it to Ford this morning for the mot - FAILED on emmissions so ive had to buy a new mixture potentiometer. The car is now left with them and hopefully they can get it right and it will pass!
They also managed to boil the cooling system leaving it running for ages then tried taking it out to "test" something then chewed the water hose dropping all the coolant. WANKERS! Thats cost me a new hose. Lucky i had one spare.
Hope they can sort it out. Going back in a bit to keep my eye on them!

Hard luck Sy, Was the potentiometer that you had dead? its an odd way of changing the a/f ratio, im surprised that it has no lambda sensor and adjusts it itself.
I like the "air filter". that is some gap though, haven't other people in the club got racing arches on 15's that are low enough?

GOOD NEWS PEEPS'
WOW Its been a very very heavy day and im physically drained by it. Here is my first ever blog.
I took the Ka to Ford at 8.30 is this morning nice and early as to avoid police attention and traffic.
Dropped it off for some tasks i needed doing and the mot.
11.30 comes and im told they are having real trouble getting the emissions to a legal level (mixture potentiometer is broken). Oh and its just dumped all its coolant in the workshop cos the hose has gone - Doh! As im pretty pissed off by now i decide to go collect the spare hose i have at home and see if they can get me a spare mixture pot. No problems with either of those so i head back to drop off the bit for them to continue work after my dinner.
1pm They have all the bits so mending commences. I do a few errands, order more bits and generally stress out about my toy being in the hands of butchers.
3.30pm Getting nervous by now as they are still revving the nuts of it on the emissions machine but still its way out and its never going to pass. In a moment of madness i decide to just pop the superchip out of the ecu and there is a smile on the operators face followed by the glorious words "you just got yourself a ticket" The chip was dumping fuel in and it was running like shite so ill leave that off for now. I try to hurry them up as cos if i dont get the mot and set off by 4 im not going to make it to the dvla to change the engine size and get it taxed. Nobody seems to want to rush today?!
4pm I head off to the cash point to pay my new best mates what i owe them for spending all day on my car for me but the morrisons where the cash point is has a power cut so i have to find another one. Eventually i find some money and head back to Ford where i pay everyone and head off to the DVLA
4.40 Get to the DVLA and tax it all and head back to ford to collect the beast.
Skip to now, the car is running well, sat on the drive fully legal ready for a nice run out this eve. Its very stiff and i have a bad back, it rattles lots and is bloody loud but boy does it go even at low revs.

I wish i had a decent camera to do some proper vids.
I went out baiting in it this eve. It was a bit wet so only managed to get a scooby, a dominos pizza fiesta van, a 306 full of chavs and an ax to have a do lol.
The 306 thought he won cos he finished up ahead of me whilst getting it a bit pete tong on a roundabout but i could have easily wasted him. The scooby thought he would flash me out of the way on a dual carriageway then tried to keep up as i shot off. I dont think i could have beaten him in a proper race but he must have wondered what the hell was happening when i flew off lol.
Im still on a high and can't sleep. I love turbo power!

To be honest i dont think ill be able to make it. There is lots that needs doing and i just dont have the time. Ill still try my hardest though.

It handles really well and grips superb even in the wet. I need to soften the suspension a little though to give it some roll into corners as there is non.
Ive not suffered any massive amounts of torque steer when giving it some either. Seems to hold still pretty well.
Went out for a quick spin last night before putting it away for the week.
Bit shakey but i was holding the camera at the time lol
