Same could be said about your website lol Ill have the car finished in the next week or so easily, once Blakeys pipe turns up. Ill get my arse outside to the garage this weekend - only if it doesn't rain though

sounds very good indeed! get in the garage even if its raining! you know it makes sense! did you run without a charge carrier when you tested it or did you just use some samco?
im gonna have to move my garage to the birds house too i think! double the space for parts everywhere! lol

I used my kitchen for alot of the stuff lol. Last xmas the house was full of Ka bits all over the place.
No i just ran it without the charge carrier which is why the induction noise is so good on the video clip

Turbo is just happily boosting away at nothing at the moment.
Now i have my nice new charge carrier i'll be able to get that little nice "flutter" noise

the flutter is just the air filter isnt it, when you run without a dump valve? or am i still a bit drugged up with all these tablets for this toothache? lol

is it strapped on and sounding better than before then?
put my crank together over the weekend then realised id forgot to pick up my thrust washers in the shop
so ill have to put those in this weekend then start moving up the engine

little update.
Got the charge carrier back from the coaters
Ill get it fitted this eve and take some more pics now the engine stuff is finished

Chances are pretty much non for that one i'd say.

looks really nice but a little bit of a shame that the pipe going to the header tank don't match the rest bearing in mind the time and effott that you have taken but who am i to say anything my car has been on axle stand for about six months

already being sorted mate. At the moment its just samco vacuum tube because i need a longer length of the proper hose. Its on order though.

Yes i need to iron a few bugs out, i managed to chew up the water hose on the alternator the other day so this is now sorted and tied up to the chassis leg out of the way. I have a few little leaks to sort from jubilee clips which should cause no great difficulty. I was hoping to take it out for a spin yesterday but the bonnet wont close without catching the charge carrier so i need to trim a little off the strenthening beam before refitting.
Also got a dead battery too so i may have a knackered alternator
Ill get there in the end hopefully.

photos of my engine build will be on soon, think they may turn out a bit dark tho...
been working at silly times!
just need to give the head a quick rebuild now with new stem seals and then get it all bolted down!
nice when you can see it finally coming together though!
